Who cares about her recent dismal box office performance? Jen has found a new man to nurse her wounds and once again he is much, much younger – by 12 years!
It looks like Jennifer Aniston is back on the dating scene, and again she has found a younger man to enjoy her company: none other than Lindsay Lohan’s ex-boyfriend, Harry Morton! Seeming to pick up where her relationship with 32-year-old John Mayer left off, 41-year-old Jen was spotted out dining, “at a cozy corner table with a good looking younger man,” according to Radar Online. She certainly has a type!

Jen took her date to her go to locale, the very private Sunset Tower Hotel in Hollywood. She seemed to be so enamored with the Hard Rock Hotel heir  she even took the time to primp and reapply her lipstick when he went to the bathroom!

Even better, Jen’s possible new flame picked up the bill at the end of the pair’s meal, which they finished off with a shared ice-cream sundae.

We thought Snooki “Nicole” Polizzi might be walking down the aisle after her now ex-boyfriend, Jeff Miranda proposed to her on the cover of Steppin’ Out magazine, but thankfully she dumped the fame hungry d-bag. The star of MTV’s Jersey Shore dumped the former Iraq veteran after she learned of his antics and former restraining order against his ex-girlfriend.

“Just want to set the record straight,” she tweeted. “I’m single and I’m not going to get married.”

This comes on the heels of Jeff telling the mag that he could see a future with the tanned pickle lover.

“I could see us having children. I want to pop the question to her. If we got married we would be the best parents around. She’s so loving and puts everyone else before herself.”

This guy sounds like a total nut! We hope Snooki finds herself a real man and not some weirdo who proposes on magazine covers!

Designer Donna Karan has long been vocal about her contempt for the fashion calendar. Before a panel in February she shared her solution for the misaligned deliveries and seasons, saying:

"It's very simple, we just stop. It is not nuclear science, it's really simple. We deliver Fall clothes in August like back-to-school, we change the calendar, we go to stores and say, 'Okay, no more getting Fall clothes in July or June so they're on sale in September when the weather hasn't changed. We have to go into a system where we're talking in-season. It's the way we eat, it's the way we dress, it's the way we think. We've conditioned the consumer to buy on sale -- I don't want to buy it full price because I can buy it on sale...We've turned our business into the white sale business."
So we are taking Karan's latest statement about fashion shows seriously. She told WWD she'd be open to sending models down the runway in Times Square on New Year's Eve. Karan remarked, "We could celebrate in season. In this economy, why confuse the customer?" We'll mark our calendars! Dibs on a front row seat.

THE HAGUE, Netherlands — U.N. war crimes prosecutors said Monday that Croatian forces shelled civilians and torched their homes in a deliberate effort to expel tens of thousands of Serbs during a lightning 1995 campaign to seize back land occupied early in the Balkan wars.

The ethnic cleansing allegations came as prosecution lawyers at the Yugoslav war crimes tribunal summed up their case against Gen. Ante Gotovina, who commanded the blitz known as Operation Storm, and two other Croatian generals.

The case is unusual because prosecutors insist the generals are guilty despite having issued orders to troops not to commit crimes. They say the generals never intended the orders to be followed.

The 1995 offensive is still a source of friction between Croatia and Serbia. Zagreb celebrates it with a national holiday, while Belgrade regards it as one of the worst crimes against Serbs committed during the Balkan wars.

Marking the 15th anniversary of Operation Storm in early August, Serbian President Boris Tadic called it a "crime which shouldn't be forgotten." His Croatian counterpart Ivo Josipovic responded that it was "above all, the crown of the justified liberation war."

Prosecutors claim 324 Serbs were killed, including elderly and disabled villagers – many "executed" with gunshots to the head.

Monday's hearing was being broadcast on Croatian state television but it raised little interest in Serbia. Gotovina, Mladen Markac and Ivan Cermak have pleaded innocent and are regarded as heroes in their homeland.

Prosecutors have demanded sentences of 27 years for Gotovina, 23 years for Markac and 17 years for Cermak. Their trial began in March 2008 and heard from 145 witnesses. Verdicts are expected later this year.

The tribunal has in other cases convicted several senior officers for issuing orders to their men to commit atrocities, or for failing to punish subordinates who violated international law.

BRUSSELS — Roman Catholic Cardinal Godfried Danneels of Belgium offered to keep a sexual molestation case against a bishop secret until the bishop retired, an official said Saturday.

Toon Osaer, Danneels' spokesman, confirmed a report in Saturday's De Standaard newspaper about a secretly taped meeting that Danneels held on April 8 with Belgian Bishop Roger Vangheluwe and the bishop's sexual abuse victim.

Osaer told the VRT television and radio network that Danneels told the victim the case against Vangheluwe could be kept quiet until the bishop retired as scheduled a year later.

In the end, Vangheluwe resigned two weeks after the meeting, expressing sorrow for having abused the victim as a youngster for years, both while serving as a priest and a bishop.

Danneels retired as head of the Belgian Catholic church in January. But police later questioned him as a potential witness in the case and raided his home and office, confiscating documents and a personal computer.

WASHINGTON — Some mine companies are tipping off their underground workers before federal officials make surprise inspections, an illegal practice that has become more prevalent since a West Virginia explosion killed 29 miners, the nation's top mine official said Thursday.

"We're looking at this as a chronic problem without question," Mine Safety and Health Administration director Joe Main told The Associated Press. "We have found enough evidence to know that we need to act to beef-up enforcement of the law to prevent this advance notice."

Main's comments came as his agency issued a special guidance bulletin to mines around the country clarifying the ban on giving advance notice of inspections.

The government has stepped up surprise inspections nationwide in the wake of the April explosion at Massey Energy's Upper Big Branch mine in West Virginia. Some workers at the mine testified that managers found ways to tip off miners ahead of time so they could pass inspections. Massey officials have denied issuing any illegal warnings, but the company faces civil and criminal investigations.

Advance notice could give miners anywhere from 10 minutes to more than an hour to hide safety problems such as improper ventilation or disabled methane monitors while inspectors make their way from the main office to locations thousands of feet underground.

MSHA has already issued 28 citations for advance notice violations this year. It issued 31 for all of last year – the highest number in a decade.

To combat the problem, MSHA has turned to more aggressive tactics like commandeering the phones as soon as inspectors arrive or driving up in cars the mine company won't immediately recognize. But it's become a dangerous cat-and-mouse game as some mines post lookouts or install infrared beams that alert them when anyone enters the property.

"At some of these mines, there's just one long dirt road where they can see you coming," said Eddie Sparks, MSHA's acting assistant district manager for enforcement in Barbourville, Ky. "Some of the coal truck drivers can get on the radio and call ahead before you ever get to the mine."

Sparks said that's what happened on April 19 when inspectors drove up to Manalapan Mining Co.'s RB No. 12 mine in Harlan County, Ky. Inspectors monitoring CB radio heard truck drivers alerting the company.

Of Kim and Justin’s fun and frolicking Elle magazine photo shoot, Bill admonished, ” If a 16-year-old girl was pictured with a 29-year-old man in any of that, he’d be in big trouble.”

Both Kim and Jennifer have vaguely spoken out about the host’s comments, Kim saying on Lopez Tonight August 24 that “everyone is entitled to their own opinion”; Jen called him the anti “Prince Charming” in a statement.

Heidi Montag has stopped crying over her sex tape long enough to talk business with Vivid Entertainment and stands to cash in big. Porn veteran Jenna Jameson says she never bought Heidi's victim act.

"Why do people do porno tapes, sell them, make boatloads of money, then LIE about being victimized. I know one girl who sold her tape herself," Jenna tweeted on Tuesday.

"@SOFTBLUSHcom I know one of the girls that acts so prim and proper and sold her tape to get famous. The others I just speculate," she continued. "I own up to my porn, I don't cry and say my boyfriend stole it."

Kim Kardashian has called her sex tape "humiliating" even though she came away from it with a $5 million settlement. Kendra Wilkinson gave teary television interviews talking about her "extremely embarrassing" sex tape after it earned her millions. Danielle Staub said her sex tape was "coming around for a reason," try as she might to stop it.

Montana Fishburne, for her part, has never been less than upfront about her hopes for her sex tape to bring her riches and fame.

"I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape," she said.

ROME — Woody Allen says in an interview that France's first lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, was very professional on the set of his movie "Midnight in Paris."

Allen told Italian daily Corriere della Sera in the interview published Saturday that working with Bruni-Sarkozy was smooth and pleasant. The ex-supermodel was on set in July for her appearance in Allen's romantic comedy, which stars Owen Wilson and Marion Cotillard.

Corriere said Allen made the comments in a phone interview from Paris.

Allen says Bruni-Sarkozy plays a guide at the Rodin Museum and that she was so good he's going to keep all her scenes in, according to the newspaper. He said French President Nicolas Sarkozy came to the set one evening because he was curious to see his wife act.
